Sabien Leemans

Sabien Leemans joined WWF European Policy Office (WWF EPO) as senior biodiversity policy officer in 2016. She is also the chair of the European Habitats Forum, bringing together leading European nature conservation organisations. Sabien has been in the WWF network for a long time, as she was coordinating the policy work at WWF Belgium before joining WWF EPO. She started her professional life in Indonesia, where she was working with local NGOs on agroforestry projects.
