Student and youth advocate
Nynke Blömer is a PhD student and youth advocate from the Netherlands. At the University of Cambridge, she works together with beekeepers to investigate how managed honeybees and wild bumblebees share landscapes. In her free time, she leads a group of student beekeepers at St John’s College, writes a monthly news column for the British Beekeeper’s Association, and engages in youth advocacy with the Global Youth Biodiversity Network. In 2019, together with Nadine Schuller, she co-founded the organisation Pollinator Ambassadors.
